| I am at a crossroad.. and stuck lol I am pondering the turboing of my 2.4 but the list of bullshit just keeps getting longer.. Now i find myself thinking of maybe investing in a built RB20 or just caving and getting an SR what do u guys think i should do.. i mean i really would like to turbo the KA but the work involved would take forever.. and a ton of money! | |

| i don't think it matter weather it's main stream or not. if it makes you go fast, and it's easier, do it =) | |

| I would run away from an RB20. They make similar power to the SR, but with more weight and the added cost of skyline tax. Everything for an RB is more expensive. If you wanted to swap an RB, make the step up to a 25 or 26 as they make the swap worth the time and money. The 25 and 26 aren't too hard to make good power on. However, you made a point that you have a long list of BS to turbo the KA and with an RB swap it will only get longer and more expensive. So I think that's out of the question then.
The SR is really easy to swap, already is turbo so going to a larger one becomes much easier, and aftermarket support/tech advice is through the roof.
I'm just saying the SR is popular for a reason, and shouldn't be a reason to stray away from the idea of swapping it in. | |
